During the polymerization of nitrile rubber it can be used as an activator, which is an activator of vulcanization of natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It can also be used as an emulsifier for oil, wax and pesticides, moisturizing and stabilizing cosmetics, textile softeners, as well as anti-corrosive additives for lubricants.
