Trisodium citrate is mainly used as a food additive, usually as a flavoring or preservative. Anticoagulant for blood collection. In photography; as a masking agent for removing trace metals; as an emulsifier, acidulant and sequestrant in food. Anticoagulant also used as a biological buffer.
