We provide a comprehensive order fulfillment process, a partnership approach and accountability in every aspect of our business.

At Centro-chem, we are constantly developing our offerings, adapting to the growing needs of customers in various industrial sectors. This time we are going a step further – we have just implemented our own demineralized water production line. This is a breakthrough moment that opens up new opportunities for both us and our Business Partners.

Why demineralized water?

Demineralized water is widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, as well as in the automotive and electrical engineering industries. It is a key raw material in manufacturing processes requiring the highest chemical purity.

“The decision to start our own production of demineralized water is the result of our desire for independence and full control over the quality of the raw materials supplied,” says Piotr Mandziuk, CEO of Centro-chem.

Thanks to in-house production, we eliminate the risk associated with fluctuations in market availability, which allows us to provide customers with a product with consistent parameters, in the required quantities and deadlines.

How do we get lab-grade purity water?

The process begins with the filtration of tap water in a mechanical filter, which removes solid contaminants. Free chlorine is then eliminated in a carbon filter, thus protecting the osmotic membranes from damage. In addition, an antiscalant is added to the water to protect the membranes, minimizing the risk of sedimentation.

The key step is the reverse osmosis process, in which water is pumped at a pressure of 10-15 bar through a membrane system to remove almost all dissolved minerals. A deaerator is then used to eliminate carbon dioxide, and final demineralization takes place in an ion exchange column, where the last remaining ions are exchanged for hydrogen cations H+ and hydroxide anions OH-.

Modern automation – consistent quality and safety

The production process is fully automatic and supervised by a modern control system that monitors conductivity. In the event of a deviation from the norm, production is stopped immediately to prevent quality deterioration.

“By investing in modern technologies and process automation, we not only increase production efficiency, but also ensure the repeatability of quality parameters, which is extremely important for our customers.” – Centro-chem Technology Manager Andrzej Czerniakowski emphasizes.

What do you gain by choosing our demineralised water?

Launching our own production of demineralized water means a number of benefits for our customers:

  • Quality guarantee – full control over the production process ensures the highest standards of purity.
  • Cost optimization – in-house production allows for more competitive prices and flexible terms of cooperation.
  • Constant availability – independence from external suppliers ensures stability and continuity of supply.
